Editor's Heart for July 2020
REPENT for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Throughout the ages, the message has never changed. Unless you repent, you will perish. That's not my word... that's not Breathe L.I.F.E.'s word... that's God's Word.

It's not a suggestion. It's not a request. Acts 17:30 says that God COMMANDS all men everywhere to repent.
|
|
Repentance is not an apology. Saying "sorry" to God is not repentance, although a heartfelt apology to our Creator for the sins we've committed is a good start. But true repentance involves change. Turning FROM the sin and turning TO the grace of God.
|
|
|
|
And repentance is not a "one and we're done" activity. True repentance is a lifestyle of continually turning away from sin and flesh and temptation, of continually choosing His way over our way, and of inviting the Holy Spirit to constantly search our hearts for anything that could be an obstacle to our fellowship with our Creator. True repentance brings times of refreshing from the Lord!

Father God, let us see sin through YOUR eyes. Open our eyes to see and our minds to understand the devastating effects sin has on our communion with You, our relationship with others, and our ability to live in the freedom You desire for us to have. Stir up in us, O God, a hunger for Your presence that would make any other desire pale in comparison.

Repentance Call
Up until now, Breathe L.I.F.E.'s outreach have primarily been in either the Baton Rouge or New Orleans areas. But starting this month, we will be taking to the streets of other cities in obedience to the direction of the Lord. First stop? Birmingham, Alabama! We are taking a team of spiritual warriors to bring the message of repentance to the streets of Birmingham. On the evening of July 10th, the team will head to Birmingham. The major outreach activities will take place throughout the day on July 11th.

There are various ways YOU can be involved in this Evangelism Outreach!

#1. You may want to be a member of the outreach team for a future travel date. Reach out to find out!
|
|
#2. While the team is on the road, there will be a group of intercessors praying over the team here at home. Again... reach out to find out!
|
|
#3. Finances are always needed to support outreach efforts.
|

Servant's Heart Outreach
On Sunday, 07/05/2020, at 3 PM, Breathe L.I.F.E. went out to minister the Word of God and the mercy of salvation to those in need... accompanied by some food and hygiene packs too! This is a monthly event (at least, if not more often). If you would like to donate, we typically make packs containing small containers of shampoo, bars of soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, washcloths, and other personal hygiene items. Cash donations are welcome as well.

ALL cash donations go directly into supplying the outreaches or other ministry events. There are no salaries or personal expenses paid to any Breathe L.I.F.E. team members.

|
Personal Note: I would like to encourage anyone who feels a pull to be involved in some type of ministry -- dip your toes in the water by coming out on the street with us for one of these outreaches. I can't even tell you what a blessing it is to minister the Word of God to a receptive, responsive soul. The fields are white for the harvest!

Administrative Information
Breathe L.I.F.E. has taken the first step toward registration as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. To complete the process, we need to raise approximately $1,200.00 to file the necessary forms and copyright/trademark our name and logo. We are asking YOU to PRAY: (1) pray that the financial need will be met and the paperwork process will go smoothly; and (2) ask God how He wants you to be involved in this process.
