Editor's Heart for January 2023
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.

In 2 Samuel 11 & 12, we find the account of David's sins concerning Bathsheba and her husband Uriah. When David is confronted by the prophet Nathan, he realizes the true depth of his sin and is truly grieved at the magnitude of what he has done and at the suffering he has caused. From this situation, David wrote Psalm 51, which is probably one of the most beautiful expressions of humility and repentance ever written. He cries out to God for a clean heart and a "steadfast" spirit, which Webster defines as "loyal" or "firm and unwavering". After years of being God's man, David is brought to a fresh realization that one bad choice can undo years of upright living. Likewise, one moment of sincere repentance can bring cleansing and restoration from multiplied acts of wickedness.

In this new year, it is only fitting that we start out fresh, with a clean heart and a spirit that is unwavering in our love and loyalty to God the Most Upright (Isaiah 26:7). David's vow to God as a result of cleansing and restoration? He vows to teach other transgressors God's ways so that sinners can be reconciled (converted to God)! Such a fitting purpose for a life that's been rescued and restored!

Praise Reports
Evangelism and outreach continues on the streets in and around Baton Rouge! Regardless of where God sends us, we are always aware that there are still people right here at home who need Jesus! And God is faithful to His Word, whether we are at home or out in the mission field. He reaps a harvest of souls for His kingdom!

God's Kingdom Builders: Revival/Reunion!
Mark your calendars! We are excited to announce that on Saturday, January 21, 2023, and Sunday, January 22, 2023, Breathe LIFE will be participating in a reunion of many ministers who were a part of Mission Evangelism International (aka Timothy House/Mary Magdalene House) when they were housed in New Orleans and those who are still a part at the Wilderness Deliverance Camp (Mrs. Barbara Nelson, Pastor William "Butch" Joseph, & Pastor Shonda Gaston) in El Dorado, Arkansas. God's Kingdom Builders, founded by Apostle Van Andrew (formerly of Timothy House), is coordinating this unique happening! As the umbrella organization, God's Kingdom Builders provides apostolic oversight to several other ministries, such as: Wall of Salvation (Minsters Darren & Ernestine Edenberg, New Orleans), Sisters in the Struggle (Fairetha Warren, New Orleans), Vision Word (T'lena Randleston), and The Church Beyond (Pastor Tina Manry). More recently, Breathe LIFE has affiliated with God's Kingdom Builders and will be present and involved in the reunion/revival! We are very excited to announce that our founder, Nissa Manry Fulton, will be officially ordained during that weekend! Of course, to US that's just a formality. Anyone who knows her figures out pretty quickly that she is an Evangelist 24/7/365. But for legal purposes... well, you know. God is granting the legitimizing of her calling in the eyes of man!

Repentance Call Mission:
The Repentance Call (RC) mission trip to St. Louis, Missouri, will go forth March 16th to 20th, 2023. The need for this trip has been confirmed multiple times! We are calling out prayer warriors to be in deep intercession for this particular mission trip. Pray for God to tear down strongholds in St. Louis. Continue to pray for cities across this nation. The battle against God and God's people is intense... and will become even hotter over time. But the victory is the Lord's! And He has made us MORE than Conquerors through Christ!

Some general guidelines for intercessors:
|
Pray for the churches/ministries in the host city:
• For laborers to be sent into the harvest. (Matt 8:38)
• To return to their first love and have the fire of God rekindled.
• To have God’s heart for the lost.
• Renewed desire to proclaim the gospel in their own city.
• To not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for the RC Team:
• All boldness and clarity to speak the Word of God. (Acts 4:29)
• Health and safety of the team.
• Spiritual preparation for the mission.
• Gentleness, patience, and humility to correct those who are in error. (2 Tim. 2:24-26)
• An open door for the Word to be preached. (Col. 4:2-4)
• To operate in unity and one accord as a team.
• For the world to see the love of God through their love for each other.

• For all financial needs for the mission trip to be met.
|
Pray for the lost in the host city:
• To receive salvation, deliverance, baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing. These things are the will of God, therefore we can ask with boldness.
• To break the spiritual blindness that stops them from seeing and receiving the light of the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4)
• Spiritual thirst. (John 4:13-15)
• Ears to hear and hearts to receive. (Luke 8:11-15)
• To receive the truth of God’s impending judgment and to realize that His goodness is drawing them to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

Servant's Heart Outreaches
Ministries of compassion are ongoing as the Lord leads and provides. Jesus said that the poor will always be with us. And it is our responsibility to reach out to those in need. We are always accepting donations of food, clothing, personal hygiene items, blankets, coats, backpacks... you know the drill!
|
We are assembling care packs to have available at all times for giving as led and able. All sorts of items are needed: wash cloth, wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, dental floss, hair brushes, combs, lotion, grooming products like nail clippers and files, maxi pads, tampons etc etc etc…. These items are needed all the time, so any donation of these items are one way to help our organization!!!

I'd also like to mention that as needs are brought to us, we post on social media to give all an opportunity to meet those needs.
