Editor's Heart for January 2024
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you." So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.

Yesterday I listened to a song with a powerful message! It struck me so hard that I had to listen again today! (Don't worry, I'm posting the link so you can also be blessed... Josh Baldwin & Jenn Johnson: Made for More) One particular lyric just hit me between the eyes: "I wasn't made to be tending a grave..." Wow! Illumination! It was as the women were leaving the grave that Jesus came to them. Yes, they had seen Him on the cross and wept at what he suffered. Yes, they saw Joseph of Arimathea lay Him in the tomb. Yes, they saw the discarded grave clothes and the empty tomb. They didn't stop there. They encountered the angels and received the message that Jesus had risen and they ACTED on the word to go and tell the others. As they went in obedience to the command to GO, Jesus met them on the way and gave them cause to rejoice and worship!

Where is Jesus telling you to go? Who is He bidding you to talk to? Someone needs to here the message of hope that God has given you. Rejoice! Carry that good news to the world areound you! In your home, in your neighborhood, in your workplace, in your grocery store... somewhere (probably EVERYWHERE) in your circle of influence, someone (probably EVERYONE) needs to here what Jesus has done for you! So GO tell the others... and REJOICE!

Repentance Call Atlanta, GA
The Repentance Call Mission Trip to ATLANTA, GA, hit the road on January 13, 2024. God gave visions/dreams to confirm this destination, even spoke some specific words in regard to people the team would encounter in the city. And as always, our God was faithful to provide for the trip and to confirm His Word with the encounters that happened there. Stay tuned for more mission trips coming up!

Pray for the churches/ministries in the host city:
• For laborers to be sent into the harvest. (Matt 8:38)
• To return to their first love and have the fire of God rekindled.
• To have God’s heart for the lost.
• Renewed desire to proclaim the gospel in their own city.
• To not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for the RC Team:
• All boldness and clarity to speak the Word of God. (Acts 4:29)
• Health and safety of the team.
• Spiritual preparation for the mission.
• Gentleness, patience, and humility to correct those who are in error. (2 Tim. 2:24-26)
• An open door for the Word to be preached. (Col. 4:2-4)
• To operate in unity and one accord as a team.
• For the world to see the love of God through their love for each other.

• For all financial needs for the mission trip to be met.
|
Pray for the lost in the host city:
• To receive salvation, deliverance, baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing. These things are the will of God, therefore we can ask with boldness.
• To break the spiritual blindness that stops them from seeing and receiving the light of the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4)
• Spiritual thirst. (John 4:13-15)
• Ears to hear and hearts to receive. (Luke 8:11-15)
• To receive the truth of God’s impending judgment and to realize that His goodness is drawing them to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

Things that are needed for every mission trip include hotel/motel rooms for team members, transportation costs (rental vehicle and/or gas), food, gospel tracts, other handouts, etc.
|
|
Please pray and consider sowing a financial seed toward mission trips.
|
|
The harvest is great, but laborers are few. Every cent you donate goes directly to
|
|
the project for which it was donated. Breathe LIFE staff are not paid salaries.
|
|
|
|
|
|

Breathe L.I.F.E. is resuming some of our foundational outreaches: moonlight ministry; homeless outreaches with food, clothes, and other supplies; park and pray; back to school drives, etc. Follow us on social media (links below), subscribe to this newsletter, and visit our website to stay informed and get involved!

There is ALWAYS a need...
We are assembling care packs to have available at all times for giving as led and able. All sorts of items are needed: wash cloth, wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, dental floss, hair brushes, combs, lotion, grooming products like nail clippers and files, maxi pads, tampons etc etc etc… and Gospel tracts. Not only do these care packs distribute essential personal items to those in need, they open a door for talking about Jesus.

I'd also like to mention that as needs are brought to us, we post on social media to give all an opportunity to meet those needs.
