Jesus IS the center... the beginning, the end... the all in all!

Editor's Heart for April 2024

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

There's a song by Terrian that's popular right now... the chorus says, "Honestly, I think we just need Jesus." If ever there was a statement of absolute truth, that's it! In our constant pushing and striving for bigger, better, MORE, where is Jesus? Even in the Church, even in Christian circles, where is Jesus? If our programs don't point to Jesus, they are pointless. If the fruit of our labors don't lead people to Jesus, they are fruitless. Instead of singing, "Jesus, be the center of my life," we need to be choosing Jesus in ways that demonstrate that He IS the center of our lives. If the focal point that is supposed to be the center of our structure is even a small degree off true-center, the whole structure is off balance. Think about it! We just need Jesus. Jesus as the center... Jesus as our beginning... Jesus as our end... and Jesus everywhere in between!

Repentance Call New York/Maryland

The Repentance Call Mission Trip to New York and Maryland will be rescheduled! The trip to that area did reveal a need for additional ministry that needs to go forth. Some divine appointments/encounters did happen during the recent trip... more to be shared on that once the travelers are home again! Keep praying for our nation as a whole!

Pray for the churches/ministries in the host city:
• For laborers to be sent into the harvest. (Matt 8:38)
• To return to their first love and have the fire of God rekindled.
• To have God’s heart for the lost.
• Renewed desire to proclaim the gospel in their own city.
• To not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pray for the RC Team:
• All boldness and clarity to speak the Word of God. (Acts 4:29)
• Health and safety of the team.
• Spiritual preparation for the mission.
• Gentleness, patience, and humility to correct those who are in error. (2 Tim. 2:24-26)
• An open door for the Word to be preached. (Col. 4:2-4)
• To operate in unity and one accord as a team.
• For the world to see the love of God through their love for each other.

• For all financial needs for the mission trip to be met.

Pray for the lost in the host city:
• To receive salvation, deliverance, baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing. These things are the will of God, therefore we can ask with boldness.
• To break the spiritual blindness that stops them from seeing and receiving the light of the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4)
• Spiritual thirst. (John 4:13-15)
• Ears to hear and hearts to receive. (Luke 8:11-15)
• To receive the truth of God’s impending judgment and to realize that His goodness is drawing them to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

Things that are needed for every mission trip include hotel/motel rooms for team members, transportation costs (rental vehicle and/or gas), food, gospel tracts, other handouts, etc.

Please pray and consider sowing a financial seed toward mission trips.

The harvest is great, but laborers are few. Every cent you donate goes directly to

the project for which it was donated. Breathe LIFE staff are not paid salaries.

The 2nd Annual Breathe, Mothers encounter is happening soon! Save the date and RSVP! Seating is limited. So if you don't reserve your space, you may not be able to get in! Also, HOPE Louisiana will be hosting our very first Workshop, which will be focused on victims of Domestic Violence and other forms of interpersonal violence. More details to be released SOON!

There is ALWAYS a need...

We are ALWAYS assembling care packs to have available at all times for giving as led and able. All sorts of items are needed: wash cloth, wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, dental floss, hair brushes, combs, lotion, grooming products like nail clippers and files, maxi pads, tampons etc etc etc… and Gospel tracts. Not only do these care packs distribute essential personal items to those in need, they open a door for talking about Jesus.

I'd also like to mention that as needs are brought to us, we post on social media to give all an opportunity to meet those needs.
