This month, the United States of America celebrated the 249th anniversary of Independence Day (4th of July), which celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence that announced the liberation of the colonies from the rule of Great Britain and marked the birth of the United States as an independent nation! "Good tidings of great joy," right??

|
|
Webster's dictionary defines "liberty" as: the quality or state of being free, as in...
|
- the power to do as one pleases
- freedom from physical restraint
- freedom from arbitrary or despotic control
- the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges
- the power of choice
As disciples of Jesus, we understand that true freedom is a precious gift. The blood of our beautiful Savior purchased our freedom... freedom from bondage to sin and death, the power to choose life over death, freedom from the guilt and shame that seek to oppress all humanity.

This year, as we acknowledge and celebrate the birth of our nation, let us also celebrate the new life and freedom we've found in Jesus! It is truly the gift of God and not to be taken lightly!

World Missions Mandate
In January 2025, Breathe LIFE began sponsoring a monthly outreach in Nigeria. Presently, in partner-ship with local churches, we are distributing rice in 3 communities. On the first Thursday of each month, we send our gifts to our partners who then purchase rice to be distributed on the following Saturday.

Please consider sowing into this life-saving work! With every portion of rice distributed, the Bread of Life is also presented. Lives are being changed and the Kingdom of God is advancing!

There is ALWAYS a need...
We are ALWAYS assembling care packs to have available at all times for giving as led and able. All sorts of items are needed: wash cloth, wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, dental floss, hair brushes, combs, lotion, grooming products like nail clippers and files, maxi pads, tampons etc etc etc… and Gospel tracts. Not only do these care packs distribute essential personal items to those in need, they open a door for talking about Jesus.

I'd also like to mention that as needs are brought to us, we post on social media to give all an opportunity to meet those needs.
