The Vision (Written & Recorded on 01/01/2016)
My name is Nissa Manry and I am the founder of Breathe L.I.F.E. Welcome to our online place! I pray you find something here that blesses, encourages, edifies, strengthens, corrects, and/or ministers to you.
On December 7, 2007, the Lord gave me the vision of being a fisher of men. That is when He called me by name and said, “You are an evangelist and I need you to get yourself together, so that I can send you out fishing.” I had a vision of a boat and throwing out nets and the first few nets had a few fish; however, after many many nets and throws, the nets began to overflow with fish. From 2007 to 2016, the desire to love the streets and touch the souls of the lost, those in need of salvation and deliverance through Jesus Christ, grew and grew and grew, leading me to start doing charitable things in the neighborhood and volunteering at non-profits, so that I could be part of the solution versus part of the problem.
Little did I know that God was teaching me through those volunteer services and community outreaches how to walk, talk, and live evangelism. On 01/01/2016, while sitting in church one Sunday in the presence of God, I heard a voice say, “Nissa, write down the word GO, It’s TIME!” I wrote it down and experienced a little fear; however, by the end of that day, God gave me the name and ministry of Breathe L.I.F.E., and confirmed that it was time to BIRTH the VISION of Breathe L.I.F.E.
The ultimate vision of Breathe L.I.F.E. is just what the name says… to Breathe L.I.F.E. is all about…
Living
In
Freedom
Eternally
Through the ministry of Breathe L.I.F.E., our vision and our heart is to provide faith-based resources such as shelters and assistance for people who may need a meal, a shower, a job referral, counseling etc… The vision is to be 100% founded on the Word which is JESUS CHRIST. Those who come to us for any type of assistance will be given the Word and given an opportunity to receive Jesus as Lord, NOT a “higher power” or “universe” or Buddha, Mohammed etc. The vision is to have a faith-based home for women, aged 18 to 65, that have had addiction and/or abuse issues and need a place for deliverance and discipleship. The vision is to also have a one-stop shop for the homeless to come in, get a hot meal, take a shower, put some fresh clothes on and get some rest off their feet, out of the sun and away from the chaos of the world.
