Editor's Heart for July 2021
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

From the moment sin entered, God has been pursuing us... calling us back to Himself. He is so relentless in His desire for relationship with us that He sacrificed His beloved Son, the only acceptable sacrifice, for our sins. Scripture declares that the only reason we love Him is because He loved us first (1 Jn. 4:19), His goodness leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and repentance is a MUST for being reconciled to Him (Acts 2:38). But there's a kind of "craziness" that takes place afterwards. Because of God's love, goodness, and pursuit of us, we repent and are forgiven. Then reconciliation takes place!! We are born again and become a new creation! AWESOMENESS!

We are so excited at the newness and freshness God pours into our lives that we start seeking in return. We want to learn how to pray and understand the Bible. We want to know God's thoughts and plans. We see the world in a new way... and we want everyone to experience God for themselves. MORE AWESOMENESS!!
|
But then something... insidious... happens. We have started to grow and produce some spiritual fruit, and we pat ourselves on our collective backs a little for how mature we are becoming. We have stopped doing so many things that ARE NOT pleasing to God, we have started doing so many things that ARE pleasing to God AND we have started telling our friends about all the things THEY are doing that don't please God. We are proud of who we have become, proud of how hard we have worked to get there. And somewhere along the way, we've forgotten that it is love that started the whole journey. Not our love... HIS!

So we beseech you, as though Christ is speaking through us: Because He is pursuing you... because He has paid the ultimate price for that reconciliation... because His goodness led you there to that beautiful place of repentance... because He loved you first...

Back to School Supplies Drive
ATTENTION!! Breathe L.I.F.E. is hosting a Back to School supplies give-away. First come, first served ~ WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

When: Saturday, 31 July 2021, from 1 PM to 4 PM
|
Where: BREC Forest Community Park, 13900 S. Harrells Ferry Rd.

Come on by... we'll have school supplies and snacks... some fun and fellowship and OF COURSE the love of God in abundance to share!

Servant's Heart Outreach
Breathe L.I.F.E. continues showing appreciation to first responders by bringing sweet treats to invite our police, firefighters, and EMTs to "taste and see that the Lord is good". In July, we visited Fire Station #13 on Sharp Road and Fire Station #10 on Menlo Drive. In August we will be visiting Fire Stations #15 and #17. Also in July, we were able to bring care baskets to children at Our Lady of the Lake nephrology department. Pray that seeds will be sown that reap a harvest of souls through these compassionate outreaches. We will continue to seek ways to advance the Kingdom wherever we find an open door!

ALL cash donations go directly into supplying the outreaches or other ministry events. There are no salaries or personal expenses paid to any Breathe L.I.F.E. team members.

Repentance Call
Repentance Call is heading to Arkansas, in the month of August! The team will head to Hot Springs, AR, on the afternoon/evening of Friday, August 13th, with the major portion of the street ministry taking place on Saturday, August 14th. All the final details of the trip will be in the next newsletter, to be sent the first week in August.

There are various ways YOU can be involved in this Evangelistic Outreach!

- You may want to be a member of the outreach team for a future travel date. Reach out to find out!
- While the team is on the road, intercessors are needed to cover them in prayer. Again, reach out to find
- Finances are always needed to support outreach efforts. The team needs larger transportation, hotel rooms, gas for the vehicles, meals, tracts, anointing oil, etc.
- Do you live in (or know someone who lives in) the target city? Come out and meet the team! Spread the word and spread the Word!
