Welcome to the New Year... well, according to the Gregorian calendar anyway.

Something about a new year causes us to FEEL renewed... it's a time for new beginnings, new purposes, new plans. Many people set New Year's resolutions. They set goals for diet/exercise, financial planning, and even spiritual disciplines. However, as believers, it's important that we know we don't have to wait for a new year when we need to be renewed and refreshed.
|
In Lamentations 3: 22-23, the writer says: "Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." This is a beautiful reminder that because of the Lord God's compassion toward us, His mercy is every available when/if we turn to Him. The cry of my heart for the body of Christ in this new year is that we truly live a lifestyle of repentance, that we are very sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and that we are QUICK to turn to our Father when we have missed His mark

If you must have a New Year's resolution, resolve to be obedient to God's word and will; resolve to be quick to forgive others and equally quick to seek forgiveness; resolve that you will not allow a matter of the flesh to separate you from the manifest presence of God in your life. And have the best year EVER!

Breathe L.I.F.E. would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of you who prayed, donated, showed up, and participated in any way with our activities/events last year. It was a wonderful, eventful year for this ministry. God's hand in guidance and in blessing was so evident to us. So for those who allowed God to use you on our behalf, thank you so much!

Moonlight Ministry
|
On Saturday, 01/18/2020, Breathe L.I.F.E. will be taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets of downtown Baton Rouge. For those of you not familiar with our ministry, the Moonlight Ministry outreach takes place at midnight and focuses on reaching those who many consider unlovable and unreachable... prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers, and other night people. This month we will be ministering on/around 3rd Street. We will meet at 11:30 PM for prayer before heading out to minister. Contact us (information below) if you would like to be involved.

Servant's Heart Outreach
|
On Sunday, 01/19/2020, at 3:30 PM, Breathe L.I.F.E. will be going out to minister the Word of God and the mercy of salvation to those in need... accompanied by some food and hygiene packs too! If you would like to donate, we typically make packs containing small containers of shampoo, bars of soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, washcloths, and other personal hygiene items. Cash donations are welcome as well.

Administrative Information

Breathe L.I.F.E. has prayerfully decided to pursue registration as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. This registration will enable us to do a number of things that will assist us in our evangelistic purpose. We need to raise approximately $1,200.00 to file the necessary forms and copyright/trademark our name and logo. We are asking YOU to PRAY: (1) pray that the financial need will be met and the paperwork process will go smoothly; and (2) ask God how He wants you to be involved in this process.
