Editor's Heart for October 2025

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
~ James 1:27 (NKJV)
What is religion? Simply put, religion is a personal system of beliefs and practices. Contrary to popular belief, religion is not a bad word... IF your religion (your system of beliefs and practices) is PURE! James 1:27 says that what God considers to be pure is a belief system that leads you to care for and tend to those in the world who are weak and powerless to fend for themselves! Both categories mentioned in this verse -- widows and orphans -- are people who have lost their providers, from a natural perspective. Widows have lost their husbands and orphans have lost their fathers. They have no one to make sure their needs are met! But GOD!
Throughout the Scriptures, God reveals His heart for the poor, the oppressed, the defenseless and weak. I would even dare to say that in our Scripture this month, the Lord is revealing that our foundational belief system is faulty if what (and Who) we believe doesn't stir us to tend to those who are grieving, or make provision for those who have nothing, or defend those who are being abused and mistreated, or seek justice for those who are being oppressed.

I don't want to merely appear to be religious to men! I say emphatically, NO! I do want the religion that I have -- my personal beliefs AND my habitual practices -- to be pure and undefiled in God's eyes.

World Missions Mandate

In January 2025, Breathe LIFE began sponsoring a monthly outreach in Nigeria. Presently, in partner-ship with local churches, we are distributing rice in 3 communities. On the first Thursday of each month, we send our gifts to our partners who then purchase rice to be distributed on the following Saturday.

In October (this month), the outreach was held on October 4th (yesterday). To God be the glory, we were able to raise enough to give rice to 3 communities!

Please consider sowing into this life-saving work! With every portion of rice distributed, the Bread of Life is also presented. Lives are being changed and the Kingdom of God is advancing!
You don't want to miss the 3rd Annual Breathe LIFE Love Doesn't Hurt Encounter! From anointed worship to powerful testimonies to inspired creative expressions, every moment of this gathering will be a testimony to the power and grace of God. Our founder, Evangelist Nissa Manry Fulton, will be sharing her story this year for the first time (officially) at one of our events.

The gathering this year will also commemmorate 10 years of service to the Kingdom and the community! Please join us to celebrate all God has done, is doing, and will continue to do in the lives of those who cry out to Him in their grief and distress!

There is ALWAYS a need...

We are ALWAYS assembling care packs to have available at all times for giving as led and able. All sorts of items are needed: wash cloth, wipes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, socks, sunscreen, bug spray, dental floss, hair brushes, combs, lotion, grooming products like nail clippers and files, maxi pads, tampons etc etc etc… and Gospel tracts. Not only do these care packs distribute essential personal items to those in need, they open a door for talking about Jesus.

I'd also like to mention that as needs are brought to us, we post on social media to give all an opportunity to meet those needs. If YOU or someone you know has an immediate need, please reach out by any of the means mentioned in this newsletter. We thank those who have sown in the past. May the Lord bless you all for your generosity!

From now through November 1st, we are collecting cold weather gear (see flyer to the right) to bring out to the streets. We are also in need of locations to set up donation bins.

I reached out for a need to get a room because I lost everything! I was leaving a messy relationship, I was starting over! I met this group of ladies at a hotel and got way more than a Room! I got Jesus! I’ve been clean, sober and reunited back to family for 6 months now! I’m a in church too! The founder checks up on me periodically and everything!
